Hey everybody. Most of you are at SXSW enjoying drinks, music and bar b q. Y’all need to enjoy one more thing and that is FLATSTOCK! FLATSTOCK is thee only poster art road show in the country. FLATSTOCK usually has the best of the best poster artist in the world under one room. One of the best poster artist that is at SXSW, an Austin native and is at FLATSTOCK is none other than BILLY PERKINS. I met BP last summer at a poster show in Sacramento thrown by another kick ass artist, PAUL IMAGINE (which I’ll have on the show sometime in the near future). Right off the bat Billy & I had a lot in common. We’re both Texans, love music, bar b q and art. Well, he’s the artist and I just look at it and enjoy it. His style of art is funny, wicked, scary and very Texan. YEEHAA!! Anyway, when you see it for your self, you’ll know what I’m talking about. So Billy will be calling in the show as part of the GIGPOSTERS.COM series I’m doing just about every week.
