Hey hey! So much going on right now during this joyous time. I'm not even thinking about Christmas that much. Why you ask? STAR FUCKIN' WARS IS ON MY MIND! The new movie is taking me back to when I saw all the originals as a kid. 1977, 1980 & 1983 were good fuckin' years. WOW! I'm going to see it twice this weekend too. I wish though I didn't lose my Star Wars folder I had. I had all my fan club shit in it. Fan club magazines, colored photos of each character, comics, drawings I did and more. Anyway, good times now to see a new beginning of Star Wars and still in love with it. WHOO!!

The year is ending in a few weeks and so I did a BEST OF 2015 TERRIBLE TUESDAY radio show in two parts. I could not squeeze in every band I wanted so please, don't be mad if your band is not on my playlists. I did a honorable mentions column and hope that helps the pain. HA!

I'm also taking the next two weeks off from the radio station. Work is crazy for me at this time of year and I have a "to do list" for my house. Plus it'll give me some time away from music, the internet and concentrate on shit I want to do for next year. I'll be back on the airwaves January the 5th of 2016.

TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE | TERRIBLE TUESDAY | PLAYLIST | NOVEMBER 12, 2015

So this past weekend we lost the actor, Gunnar Hansen. He portrayed “Leatherface ‘Bubba’ Sawyer” in the 1974 horror classic, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. His performance alone scared the shit out of me and millions of people in the 70s and on through the 80’s. I remember seeing the movie the first time at the drive-in. Those times in the 70s, grown ups didn’t care if a movie scared you or not. I think they wanted it to scare you to toughen you up or to make fun of you for the rest of your life. Well in any case, it scared the crap out of me. I was so scared of Leatherface that my nightmares had nightmares.

Then after seeing the movie more and more, I got immune to the “scary” parts of it and enjoyed the horror it brought to me. As I got into middle & high school, it became the “midnight” movie at the local theaters. It even became the biggest date movie ever to us preteens. I remember one of my first dates in middle school was taking her to see the movie during a Saturday matinee. The whole theater was fully packed with middle schooler's yelling, throwing popcorn and all that shit, but when the lights turned off, it was time to get scared. I won’t go into details about the date, but she was scared for some time and didn't talk to me for a while. HA! My friends & I though would always see it every school year. Now, the movie is pretty much on all the time. I haven't seen it in a while, but I think it's time to bring back the nightmares once again. This time, I'll enjoy it. Thanks a lot, Gunnar Hansen for making 'Leatherface' one of the true faces in horror history. R.I.P.

ROCKTOBER IS HERE! This is a special month during the year. The season has changed, getting your Halloween costume ready, every band is touring and a lot of new albums (Kylesa & Clutch just to name a few) being dropped this month as well. Touring bands I'm hoping to see this month is as follows: Hammerhead, Flipper (w/David Yow), Radioactivity, Today Is The Day, Cuntz, Mudhoney, Fuzz, Wand, Windhand, Danava, Night Demon, Retox, Child Abuse and so much more. Like I said, October is the best month out of year and this just proves it. Hope your Rocktober is just as good. Let me know.

I grew up with two aunts around me at 6yrs old and they listened to Rock and the local Rock station all the time in 1975. I already knew about RNR at that time, but when I saw a picture of KISS and heard "Alive" I went berserk. Maybe that's why I turned out a little crazy, but KISS was the gateway band for most of us kids back in the 70s to get into RNR. In a three to four year span, I was all about KISS. KISS posters, shirts, wore fuckin make-up, I was Cat for Halloween, I wanted the fuckin' boots. This was a 7 & 8 year old me and tens of thousands more kids that wanted all that shit. I know, we went berserk! We saw them on Saturday morning cartoons, TV shows, movies, late night telly and so much more. They were everywhere. Today is the 40th anniversary of KISS Alive and I just want to thank KISS for fucking up my life (in a good way) and introducing me to another world. So I go off the grid for a few days and when I come back home from camping, Roddy Rowdy Piper is dead. What? I thought it was a joke. I grew up watching him in and out of the ring doing what he was good at and that was chewing bubble gum and kicking ass. I'll never forget how he beat up Capt. Lou Albano and Cindi Lauper at MSG. HA! That shit was awesome to me as a kid. Then of course the film, THEY LIVE! He was so good in that film.
