So I go off the grid for a few days and when I come back home from camping, Roddy Rowdy Piper is dead. What? I thought it was a joke. I grew up watching him in and out of the ring doing what he was good at and that was chewing bubble gum and kicking ass. I'll never forget how he beat up Capt. Lou Albano and Cindi Lauper at MSG. HA! That shit was awesome to me as a kid. Then of course the film, THEY LIVE! He was so good in that film. I think I must've saw that movie in my 20's about 500 times and it was always when I didn't have a job either. HA! Anyway, RIP Roddy and hope you're playing the bagpipes somewhere with the other wrestling legends.
Here's my new TOP 5 for Razorcake Magazine #87. I mixed up my TOP 5 with some Country Punk, Hardcore, Rock and Roll and Garage Punk. If you haven't heard of The Beaumonts from Texas yet, you're fuckin' missing out. Those guys play good 'ol Country Music our grandpa use to hear, but with some funny & fucked up lyrics.
