NO AWARDS! | RAZORCAKE #90 | TERRIBLE TUESDAY | PLAYLISTS | FEBRUARY 18, 2016

The last time I saw the stupid Grammy Awards was when Nashville Pussy won Best Metal Performance for their song, “Fried Chicken and Coffee” back in 1999. I’m not really into any kind of award shows, but we need a new system that will also introduce independent bands and record labels to the masses. I would like to see BEST GARAGE ROCK BAND or BEST PSYCH BAND. Shit like that and really, picking the two fat guys winning Best Metal album was a joke. C’mon!!  Up next is my RZCK TOP 5. The Grammy’s could learn something from that. HA!

 
So here's my latest RZCK TOP 5 from issue #90. TV Freaks are some dark fuckin' Punkers from Canada. USA Nails & Blacklisters are UK's latest Noise Rock bands taking that country by storm. Ex-Breathers are a kick ass post-hardcore band out of Tennessee and they'll be bigger next time around. Lastly is Florida's, Gino and The Goons. They're that kind of Punk Rock band that when they come to your town for a gig, the play dirty, steal, drink everything and fuck anything in sight. That's my TOP 5. Take a chance and listen to these bands when you're taking a shower or even a dump. You'll love it. Trust me.

INTERVIEW | ALTAMONT IN STUDIO | TERRIBLE TUESDAY | PLAYLIST | FEBRUARY 4, 2016

This past weeks Terrible Tuesday Radio Show, I had ALL THREE MEMBERS of Altamont (Dale Crover of (the) Melvins, Joey Osbourne of Acid King & Dan Southwick) in studio for 90 minutes. It was a really fun & insightful interview I've ever had. Dale was making his 7th appearance on my radio show and two of those in studio. Once again, the show is presented by Valley King Records/Secret Serpents and the showcase is coming up this Saturday, February 6th at Thee Parkside here in San Francsico. The shows bill consists of PORN - Tim Moss on guitar, Dale Crover on drums and Bill Gould (Faith No More) on bass and OLDER SUN (on Valley King Records). The showcase will also have new works by Alan Forbes, posters, merch and record giveaways! Come out to the "Super Bowl" of a show in San Francisco and Rock Out!
