Rafa of San Francisco’s sludge leaders, BLACK COBRA will be live in the studio with me tomorrow for Terrible Tuesday w/Naked Rob, 4-6pm (PST) on Radio Valencia 87.9FM or listen online at radiovalencia.fm. Rafa Martinez (Acid King, -16-) and his bandmate/friend Jason Landrian (ex-Cavity) started BC back in 2002 and since then, they took the music world by storm. BC has toured all over the world and with such huge acts as High on Fire, The Sword, Saviours, Torche, and Genghis Tron just to name a few. Also as of recent, BLACK COBRA has signed with Southern Lord Recordings out of L.A. and they’re on a pretty good roster of bands: Goatsnake, Black Breath, Sun O))), Wino, Weedeater, Boris, Om and countless others. We’ll be spinning Black Cobra of course and Rafa is bringing in some of his own personal collection of bands from around the world.
