SA SPURS ARE CHAMPS! | PLAYLIST | JUNE 17, 2014

So my hometown basketball team, the San Antonio Spurs beat the Heat in 5 games (almost a sweep) and now are the Champs of the world. What does this have to do about my radio show or music? Absolutely nothing. HA! I'm just proud of the team and my city for being classy mofo's. The SA fans didn't burn shit down, destroy property or caused any kind of a ruckus. They just cruised around downtown, honked their horns and yelled out "GO SPURS!" to celebrate the win. They had the river parade for them yesterday too. WOW! Wish i was there, but I'm glad for the internet because I got to see most of the celebration by thousands of fans. Congrats Spurs and SATX! Salud!

GOODBYE ANN B. DAVIS aka ALICE | PLAYLIST | JUNE 3, 2014

Aw man, we lost Ann B. Davis this week. Well, my generation knows her better as the maid, Alice in the t.v. show The Brady Bunch. When I was a kid (and I think all the other kids as well), we had out butts in front of that television watching TBB. I remember most of the characters I didn't like, but Alice was the link that kept it all together. Also, she lived her later years in my hometown of San Antonio, Texas and she was a S.A. SPURS fans too. Her last broadcast interview was on a morning show and she said, GO SPURS GO! She just wasn't some character on a tv show, she was my hero. RIP!

I loved the part in Star Trek's 1986 movie, The Voyage Home. Kirk tells the Punk Rocker to turn off that noise and he shoots the finger at him. Well then, Spock gave him the Vulcan grip and he slept away probably for the remainder of the bus ride. HA! The actor, Kirk Thatcher is also a writer and he wrote the lyrics to the song, 'I Hate You' along with the band, Edge of Etiquette. HA! He now lives in Star Trek infamy.
